Your cat is constantly meowing? It's an important sign
A cat may meow for various reasons. Sometimes, they do it out of excitement, and sometimes, they do it to demand something from us. However, it can also be a way of letting us know something hurts. But how do we know if we’re reacting properly to the sounds they make? In this case, it’s very important to know how well we know our pet.
Sometimes cats meow because they want an extra portion of food. We must show strong willpower, as otherwise, they will continue to behave this way endlessly.
Often, cats are simply bored and meow to get our attention. Additional petting and playtime should help. Cats might also make noticeable sounds when they dislike something, such as a new piece of furniture in the house, so our attentiveness is crucial.
If, however, our pet didn't meow this frequently and suddenly starts, it could indicate that something is wrong. In such a case, you should promptly visit a vet.
Your cat is hiding in a box? There’s a good reason
Many people don’t understand why cats choose a hard and not-too-comfortable box over a cosy bed. After all, cat owners often spend a fair amount on their pet’s beds. It turns out our four-legged friends don't do this without reason.
Cats love dark and small spaces, which is why they feel very safe and are much warmer in boxes. Scientists from Utrecht University in the Netherlands have also proven that cats feel much more relaxed and less stressed in boxes.
